A group of 14 high school students from China will visit the Cosmosphere for a one-day camp Saturday in Hutchinson.

The group from Shanghai Southwest Weiyu Middle School is visiting through a partnership with the Independent School in Wichita, said Tracey Tomme, vice president of education at the Cosmosphere.

In addition to touring the Cosmosphere's museum and learning the history of the space race, the students will get to use the Cosmosphere's simulators -- including a centrifuge, flight simulator and multi-axis trainer -- and have the opportunity to see shows in the Carey Digital Dome Theater, Justice Planetarium and Dr. Goddard's Lab.
